Mark Mackay (Senior Pastor)
Formerly a trolley-pusher, storeman and Chartered Accountant, Mark became pastor of our Church in 2006. Married to Catherine and with 4 kids, life is busy in the Mackay household. Mark enjoys most sports (except Olympic walking) and getting lost in good music (U2, Coldplay but NO COUNTRY MUSIC). Most of all, he is passionate about the local Church as the means God uses to change lives and the World.
Geoff Eggins (Associate Pastor)
Geoff began his working career in the fruit and veg section of BI-LO supermarkets and has since been a computer programmer, maths tutor and secondary school teacher. Geoff became youth pastor at Forest Lake in 2011. He is married to Hayley and has two muscular little sons, Charlie and Caleb, and a little girl on her way. He is a self confessed nerd who enjoys website creation, computer games, growing orchids and nerf guns. Above all this, he is passionate about the transformation of young lives through the life found in Jesus Christ.
Haydn Lea (Associate Pastor)
Joining the Royal Australian Air Force immediately after high school, Haydn worked as an Airfield Defence Guard for six years. Now he is training to be a military chaplain while working as Associate Pastor here at Forest Lake. He is married to Shamsa, who is also an Air Force officer (and technically his superior officer). Haydn enjoys fitness, especially distance running and boxing, as well as reading. Above all, he is a self-confessed 'theology nerd', who is passionate about studying and teaching the deep truths of God’s self-revelation in order to help others truly and deeply love God and love others.
Stuart Bradley (Elder)
A veteran of two tours OF Viet Nam, Stuart served as an aircraft technician, and interpreter. He and his wife, Lucy, have four adult children, and eight grandchildren. They are passionate to make their faith practical and relevant in the local community. Kites are his hobby, along with photography and turning junk into worthwhile items. He has been an elder in the church since 2013, and is currently Vice-President of the Forest Lake RSL Sub-Branch.
Ron Linning (Elder)
Since commencing work at the age of 16 Ron has been a Technical Officer, Audiologist and Baptist Minister until retiring in 2013. He specialised in diagnostic and paediatric audiology, and his ministry areas have been mainly in new churches or those in transition. In retirement he and Mary have settled into Forest Lake Baptist, where they have become engaged in life group and other ministry areas. They are also members of a Country Music Club, where Ron is part of a trio which performs regularly, and is involved with the sound desk team. They have three adult children, and two granddaughters. Ron and Mary long to see the church strong, and believers growing in their faith and walk with God.
